Privacy Policy

 

1. Types of Information that is Collected from using my site, but all is optional:

1. Email and Name from the Bot

2. Email and Name from Contact Forms

3. Email and Name to sign up for Free Items and/or Events and/or Upcoming Programs/Courses/Events

4. When/if you make a purchase I will collect - Contact information, credit card information, address - through SamCart (which is my processor for ecommerce).  

   1. I use this information solely for you making a payment for a service/product and also for me to connect with you after if necessary

   2. I only set up the commerce site to collect address information if I intend to use it for sending you something or if during coaching I will sending you a care package upon purchase

2.  Cookies, Pixels or Tracking Signals

1. It is not an intentional part of my Wixx hosted site to collect this information or do anything with this information

2. Please be aware that it is likely being collected by a third party, what that third party does (Wixx, SamCart, Stripe, Etsy) is not of my knowledge

3.  MailChimp

1. I use MailChimp on occasion to collect information for my mailing list

2. This is a tool I use to help me manage my mailing list and they are going to have access to your personal information as well

4. Spam Compliance

1. The reason that I use MailChimp or I use very strict questioning about whether I can send you emails when I collect information from you (i.e. like when you join my free support groups) is because I want you to be aware that I will likely send you sales emails and contact emails and newsletters.

2. Each email that I send will say “I no longer wish to receive this email, please take me off your list.  Reply to this email if that is the case.” or will be sent through MailChimp where you can select to not receive emails from my email account.

5. Children’s Privacy

1. I am not in the business of children’s services through this site

2. I do not collect information about minors

3. If I happened to have collected something in error, I will immediately delete it from any source it may have come through

 

General Data Protection Regulation (GDRP)

 

1. Password Protection

   1. I use a special password for each of my business site suppliers - Wixx, Stripe, SamCart, Etsy, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest

   2. Each password is stored in a special, locked location on my phone 

   3. I am the only person with access

2. Data Retention

   1. After a client has determined they no longer wish to work with me, I will remove them from my mailing list

   2. After a recipient of my emails has determined they no longer wish to receive emails from me, I will remove them from my mailing list

   3. I keep client information on file for 7 years from the last date of interaction for all coaching clients

      1. Once I have reached the 7 year period I will destroy the information collected

      2. All confidential information is stored in a password protected file on my computer that only I know the password to

3. Destruction

   1. All computer files will be destroyed by deleting my file from my documents and then deleting the file from my computer through the recycle bin on my desktop

   2. All names and contact information in MailChimp will be deleted from my MailChimp account

4. What happens if there’s a breach?

   1. If I become aware that there has been a breach of information, I will immediately contact the person whose information has been contacted by an outside source

   2. I will recommend that they immediately change their passwords 

   3. I will do all I can to support the authorities in identifying the entity who was responsible for the breach

5. Email List Permissions

   1. I always ensure that I ask if people would like to be on my mailing list

   2. Anyone can sign up for any freebie or offer where I ask to have their email

   3. I also ask if that person is ok with me adding them to my mailing list
